New Hartford
The Village of New Hartford was founded in 1788 but incorporated in 1870. Jedediah Sanger came to set up his grist mill on the Sauquoit Creek.
The population was 1,847 at the 2010 census.
New Hartford is the largest suburb of Utica, which is located directly north of the town and village. Today the Village of New Hartford is busy with shops, restaurants, and churches. According to its inhabitants, there is no better town in NY to witness the 4 seasons of the year. New Hartford is full of amazing and friendly people who make you feel so welcome.
